Water Sampling
According to the Water Pollution Control Ordinance (chapter
358), all sewage effluent's licensees should monitor the quality
of waste water by regular conveying water sampling.
Generally, EPD requires the restaurants to carry out test for
the following determinants:
Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD)
Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)
Oil & Grease
Suspended Solids
Water Tests arranged by Grease Tech Ltd will be carried out
by a HOKLAS accredited laboratory (Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation
Scheme). Different Parameters like BOD, COD and O&G, will
be tested.
